A poem from about 5 years ago...
I am in Australia until the 10th of August, thus the lack of posts; but I was reading through my journal tonight and I found this poem I wrote a number of years ago. I thought that you all might appreciate it.
When I was young,
I was searching for someting.
Someting I did not know, I could not find.
I was looking in people,
I was looking in things.
But, I could not find.
I was searching for the Sun
in the darkest place I could find.
But then you came
and you rescued me.
You cast the Son into the darkness
so that I could see.
